What Is Muc-Off Silicon Shine and When Should You Use It?
Muc-Off Silicon Shine is a finishing spray that goes on after the wash. It protects and leaves a sparkling shine on metal, plastic, and rubber parts, and its silicon formula helps stop grime building up on treated surfaces, which cuts down on future cleaning. On a suspension bike it also reduces friction on fork stanchions and rear shocks.
To use the 500ml aerosol, shake the can, spray it onto a clean surface, then buff it with a microfibre cloth to a dry, sparkling shine. Muc-Off says never to apply it to tire treads or braking surfaces, so keep it off rotors, pads, and brake tracks.
