What Makes the Muc-Off V2 Tubeless Valve Kit Different?
The Muc-Off V2 Tubeless Valve Kit uses a machined 7075 aluminum stem and cap, a removable core, and a 4mm machined Allen key slot for installation and removal. Use the valve core removal tool to take out the core and add sealant through the valve. Muc-Off makes the V2 in 44mm, 60mm, and 80mm lengths for MTB, gravel, and road, and says the valves work with most tubeless rims. If you are unsure which length your rims need, check your rim maker's instructions.
The V2 update brings two changes: Muc-Off moved the stem from 6061 to aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum to make it lighter and stronger, and machined six slots into the base so sealant and air flow freely when you run tubeless tire inserts. Each kit also includes three pairs of rubber bases to fit different rim shapes and a valve core removal tool built into a spare cap.
