The Park Tool TWS-3 is a 3-way Torx compatible wrench covering T25, T30, and T40, the three Torx sizes most commonly found on modern bicycle components including disc brake rotors, stem bolts, and suspension hardware. The 3-way handle design gives you a different grip for each size, so the tool is always oriented for comfortable torque rather than requiring you to flip or reposition it mid-fastener. Is the TWS-3 compatible with security Torx fasteners?
The TWS-3 is designed for standard Torx fasteners. It is not compatible with security Torx fasteners that have a center pin.
Does the TWS-3 work the same as a Torx L-key set?
Yes, but with a more ergonomic grip. The 3-way Y-handle design gives you better torque control and a more comfortable hold than individual L-key wrenches.
