How does the PDW Bindle Rack carry your gear?
The PDW Bindle Rack is a seatpost mounted rack designed to haul your gear on multi-day cycling tours or just across town. It is constructed of lightweight alloy, mounts to seatposts from 22.0 to 31.6mm in seconds, and is rated to 5.34 kg. Heavy-duty compression straps loop through the saddle rails, and the rack helps prevent side-to-side sway while riding and rear wheel rub for riders with short seatposts.
Place your tent, sleeping bag, drybag or other gear on the 133 x 343 mm (5.25 x 13.5") deck and pull the compression straps tight to secure the load up against the bottom of your saddle. PDW recommends the 14 liter Revelate Designs Terrapin Drybag, which has a tapered shape that fits the rack platform. This listing is the rack only. Backed by a Lifetime PDWarranty.

Yes, if your seatpost is between 22.0 and 31.6mm. PDW includes longer bolts for 31.6mm seatposts.
What is the weight limit?
PDW rates the Bindle Rack to 5.34 kg.
Do I need a special bag?
No. PDW says you can place a tent, sleeping bag, drybag or other gear on the platform. It recommends the 14 liter Terrapin Drybag by Revelate Designs, which has a tapered shape that fits the rack platform.
Where on the seatpost does it mount?
PDW's manual says to bolt the Bindle 4 to 8 inches from your saddle rails.
