Overview
What Makes the PDW Bodega Basket the Right Front Basket for Your Bike?
The PDW Bodega Basket is a classic open-top front handlebar basket built for urban riding and everyday cargo hauling. Constructed from powder-coated steel wire, it offers a sturdy, practical platform for groceries, bags, camera gear, or whatever needs to ride up front on any given day. The open design lets you toss items in and grab them quickly without zippers or closures slowing you down.
Mounts to most flat and upright handlebars and pairs naturally with commuter bikes, city bikes, and utility setups. The Bodega Basket is the kind of accessory that earns its place through daily use rather than novelty. It does one thing and does it well: it carries your stuff while you ride, without making your bike look like a delivery vehicle.

The Bodega Basket is designed for flat and upright handlebars common on city, commuter, and hybrid bikes. Verify bar diameter compatibility before purchasing.
How much weight can it hold?
PDW recommends checking the product specifications for the exact load rating. Steel wire baskets of this style typically handle everyday cargo loads comfortably.
Will items fall out of an open basket?
The Bodega Basket is best used with bags, backpacks, or items that sit securely inside the wire frame. For loose small items, pairing with a liner or tote bag is recommended.
