How Does the PDW Minoura Front Thru Axle Fender Mount Work?
The PDW Minoura Thru Axle for Fender and Rack Mounting - Front is a replacement front thru axle from Minoura. Swap out your existing front thru axle for this one and you can mount racks, fenders, Light Nugs and more directly to the center of the axle, using the mounting eyelet on both ends. PDW calls it a great problem solver for forks without eyelets.
It is compatible with 12x100/110 hubs only. It comes with adapters for three thread pitches: red = 1.0, blue = 1.5, and black = 1.75. It weighs 80g (2.8 oz).

It is compatible with 12x100/110 hubs only. Adapters for three thread pitches are included: red = 1.0, blue = 1.5, and black = 1.75.
Is this specifically for the front or can it work on the rear?
This listing is the FRONT version. PDW makes a separate rear version for rear axle positions. Use the correct one for your application.
Does this go on top of my existing axle?
No. It replaces your existing front thru axle. Swap out your current axle for this one, then mount accessories to the eyelets on both ends.
