How Does the PDW Minoura Rear Thru Axle Fender Mount Work?
The PDW Minoura Thru Axle for Fender and Rack Mounting - Rear is a replacement rear thru axle from Minoura. Swap out your existing rear thru axle for this one and you can mount racks, fenders, Light Nugs and other accessories directly to the center of the axle. It has a mounting eyelet for accessories on both ends, and PDW calls it a great problem solver for frames without eyelets.
It fits 12x142/148 hubs and comes with adapters for three thread pitches: red = 1.0, blue = 1.5, and black = 1.75. Those are the same three thread pitch adapters that come with the front version, which fits 12x100/110 hubs. Minoura notes that it is not compatible with double-thread axles, such as those found on Cannondale. Installation requires 4mm and 6mm hex wrenches. It weighs 90g (3.2oz).

Is this different from the front version?
Yes. Both come with the same three thread pitch adapters, but the rear fits 12x142/148 hubs and the front fits 12x100/110 hubs.
What can I mount to it?
