Which YT Bikes Does the Pilo D778 Derailleur Hanger Fit?
The Pilo D778 is the replacement rear derailleur hanger for YT Jeffsy CF from 2016 to 2018, Jeffsy AL from 2016 to 2019, and Capra CF and AL from 2018 to 2019. Pilo CNC machines it from 6061 T6511 billet aluminum and finishes it in hard black anodize, in an ISO 9001 certified facility. It mounts on the inside of the dropout and runs a 12 mm axle. Compare your current hanger against the photos before ordering, because YT changed hanger shapes between generations.
The S31 lock nut is included, and Pilo lists the axle thread size as M16x1 left hand. A derailleur hanger is the part designed to bend or shear before your frame or your rear derailleur does, so a bent one after a drive side crash is the system working correctly rather than failing. It is also the part that quietly ruins shifting long before anyone thinks to check it. In the shop we will straighten a first bend and replace after that, because every bend and re-bend takes life out of the aluminum. A small tweak on a hanger that has never been bent is worth straightening. A hard hit, a visible crack, or a second bend in the same spot is a replacement.

The usual signs are shifting that will not index cleanly across the cassette, a rear derailleur that does not hang parallel to the cogs when you sight it from behind, and chain noise in the largest cogs. A hanger alignment gauge is the only way to confirm it, which is why it is worth having the bike checked rather than guessing.
