What Makes the PNW Loam Lever Gen 2 Stand Out?
The PNW Components Loam Lever Gen 2 has been called the yoga mat for your thumb. PNW's design considers both smooth actuation and a superior tactile experience. Simply put, it's fun to press. The 22.2mm hinge clamp fits standard MTB handlebars, and the fully sealed cartridge bearing and stainless steel hardware are built to persevere through the seasons.
The lever body is fully CNC'd aluminum with a silicone thumb pad, offered here in Black Out Black or Cement Grey. It is a shifter style lever for 1x drivetrains and works with any cable-actuated dropper post, including PNW's own. It is not compatible with fully hydraulic posts such as the RockShox Reverb, and it does not fit alongside a front derailleur shifter on the left side of the bar. Cable and housing are sold separately.

The Loam Lever Gen 2 is 5-axis CNC'd for a sharper, cleaner look and lighter weight, has a larger sealed bearing, and comes in many colors. The Range Lever has a forged body.
Is the Loam Lever Gen 2 compatible with dropper posts from other brands?
Yes. PNW lists it as compatible with any cable-actuated dropper post. It is not compatible with RockShox Reverb posts, which are fully hydraulic.
What does the 22.2mm clamp size mean for handlebar compatibility?
The standard 22.2mm hinge clamp is compatible with standard MTB handlebars. PNW also makes SRAM MatchMaker X, Shimano I-SPEC II, and Shimano I-SPEC EV versions; this listing is the 22.2mm clamp.
Does it work on a bike with a front shifter?
No. The Loam Lever Gen 2 is a shifter style lever for 1x drivetrains and is not compatible with a front derailleur shifter on the left side of the bar. For 2x bikes, PNW recommends the Puget 2x Lever.
Can I run it on the right side of my bars?
The Loam Lever runs horizontally and is machined ergonomically for the left side of the bars, so it would not work well on the right side.
