What is the Shimano 105 ST-R7020 STI Lever Hood Set for?
The Shimano 105 ST-R7020 STI Lever Hoods - Pair is the genuine Shimano replacement hood set for the 105 mechanical hydraulic disc brake levers. Sold as a left and right pair, these black rubber covers restore the factory grip texture and finish to ST-R7020 levers worn from miles in the saddle. Going OEM keeps the shape, feel, and fit exactly as Shimano engineered it for the lever body.
Compatible with ST-R7020 mechanical hydraulic disc brake levers in the Shimano 105 R7000 series. A small amount of rubbing alcohol on the inside of the cover during install helps the rubber slide cleanly over the lever body. Once the alcohol dries the fit is locked in tight. The right move for 105-equipped disc brake riders refreshing a high-mileage cockpit between seasons.

These fit ST-R7020 mechanical hydraulic disc brake levers in the Shimano 105 R7000 11-speed series. The hood profile is specific to the R7020 lever body.
Will these fit the rim brake ST-R7000 or the newer Di2 ST-R7170?
No. The rim brake mechanical ST-R7000 lever uses a different hood, and the 12-speed 105 Di2 ST-R7170 uses another. Match the hood part number to the exact lever variant.
Are these sold individually or as a pair?
As a pair. The set includes one left and one right hood, each labeled L or R inside.
Any install tips?
Remove the lever from the bar, put a small amount of rubbing alcohol inside the cover so the rubber slides cleanly over the lever body, align the protrusions with the bracket hollows, and let the alcohol dry. The hood locks in tight.
