Aluminum links and clamp band trim weight while keeping the unit stiff where it counts.
A plated steel chain cage stands up to repeated shifts and the realities of daily riding, and the 45mm chain line with a 50t maximum outer ring and 20t capacity makes it a versatile match for triple cranksets. This is a bottom pull, traditional style derailleur with a dual clamp band that fits both 28.6mm and 31.8mm frames, so it drops into a broad range of road and touring bikes.
