The Shimano Ultegra FD-R8150 brings flagship-grade Di2 front shifting to the Ultegra tier, engineered alongside the R9200 generation with a 45% faster shift speed and a 33% reduction in frontal area compared to the previous generation FD-R8070. At 116 grams, the semi-wireless Di2 architecture keeps the derailleur wired to the BT-DN300 battery via EW-SD300 E-Tube cable while the levers communicate wirelessly -- eliminating lever-to-derailleur cable routing while keeping a reliable power connection at the derailleur itself. Auto-trim based on rear derailleur position eliminates chain rub across the full 12-speed cassette range without rider input.

Braze-on mount. Compatible with 50/34, 52/36, and 54/40t road chainring combinations. Tune and configure via the E-Tube Project app over Bluetooth. Requires a compatible Shimano 12-speed Di2 rear derailleur, BT-DN300 battery, and EW-SD300 wiring. Not compatible with 11-speed Di2 components.
