The SILCA Aluminum Disc Chuck is an ultra-compact adapter built to solve the one problem that makes disc wheel inflation frustrating: leaking under pressure. The 252 gasket, borrowed from industries that demand air-tight seals in the harshest environments, tests to a life expectancy more than five times longer than the carbon-filled rubber or Buna-N materials used in standard disc chucks. A compression head design lets you tighten the gasket fit by nearly 200% with a simple twist of the cap, and in testing with a major disc wheel manufacturer the SILCA Disc Adapter posted a blow-off pressure of 393psi, more than three times higher than any competing design.
It is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum alloy with knurled gripping surfaces and the signature bright red gasket that signals proper seating. Rated over 300 psi, Presta valve compatible, with an easily replaceable gasket, it threads into any Schrader pump head, including SILCA pumps fitted with a Schrader head or hose.
