The 252 gasket, borrowed from industries that require air-tight seals in extreme environments, tests to a life expectancy more than five times longer than the carbon-filled rubber or Buna-N materials used in standard disc chucks. A new compression head design lets you tighten the gasket fit by nearly 200% with a simple twist of the cap, and in independent testing with a major disc wheel manufacturer, the SILCA Disc Adapter achieved a blow-off pressure of 393psi, more than three times higher than any competing design.
