The SILCA Aluminum Presta Chuck is a press-on replacement chuck that re-imagines the most iconic tool in cycling as an heirloom-quality piece. There are no finicky locking levers and no threading onto the valve. You push it on, it stays on, and you press it off. Inside sits a 242 synthetic elastomer gasket with five times the durability of traditional rubber, and its pressure-amplifying dome geometry uses air pressure to clamp the valve stem: the higher the pressure, the tighter the seal.
The aluminum body is machined with mono-crystalline diamond tooling for a flawless surface finish and a deeply considered knurl that feels just right in the hand. It threads into any Schrader attachment and works on any pump or hose with a threaded or locking Schrader receiver, including the SILCA Pista line and Elettrico pumps, but not SILCA frame pumps. The gasket is replaceable. Backed by the SILCA Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the user.
