The SILCA Nastro Cuscino 3.75mm is SILCA's maximum-comfort bar tape, built for riders who want the most vibration isolation possible without giving up grip or durability. It uses the same tri-laminate as the rest of the line, a SILCAthane outer grip ply tuned from high-performance eyewear materials, a SILCAlon cushion layer developed from 2-Hour Marathon shoe foam, and a 3M Visco-elastic adhesive for targeted damping, but with substantially more material underhand. At 3.75mm it delivers cushioning equivalent to 5mm of traditional foam, with a strong texture, medium-high tackiness, and printed silicone graphics that add grip in wet and dusty conditions. It earned Tour Magazin's bar tape Test Winner.
Because the comfort comes from engineered layers rather than just more foam, the extra thickness damps road buzz selectively, so you still feel the road through the bar without the high-frequency vibration that fatigues your hands. It comes with a full adhesive-backed butterfly for clean lever-clamp coverage, high-grip finishing tape, and expanding aluminum/composite end plugs, at 230cm +/- 10% per roll, and is automatically enrolled in SILCA's Crash Replacement Program.
