What makes the SILCA Terra built for low pressure?
The SILCA Terra is a high volume pump built for low pressure, with a non-linear two-stage gauge that gives 0.5psi precision at the low end of the range, climbing to 2psi precision at the high end. Half the gauge face is devoted to the 0 to 30psi range. It uses a lightweight, durable aluminum barrel and keeps SILCA's all metal construction.
The full-size lathe-turned ash wood handle includes a hose guide, and the locking aluminum chuck is lever operated, uses a threaded reversible end cap to switch between Presta and Schrader, and contains an inline pressure bleed button. SILCA built it to keep high pressure capabilities too, so it handles road tires as well as larger volume, low-pressure tires. It is backed by the SILCA Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects for the life of the owner.
