The SiS Beta Fuel + Electrolyte Gel combines the same 40g of dual-source carbohydrates in the proven 1:0.8 maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio as the standard Beta Fuel Gel, with the addition of 200mg of sodium per gel to support hydration and prevent cramping during prolonged efforts in hot or humid conditions. Science in Sport developed this gel specifically for athletes who need maximum carbohydrate delivery and electrolyte replacement in the same product: one less thing to juggle when effort is high and conditions are demanding. The formula is isotonic and can be consumed without additional water.
Use this gel when training or racing in warm ambient conditions for two or more hours, or any time elevated sweat rate makes electrolyte replacement as important as fueling. Consume one gel every 20 minutes to deliver up to 80 to 120g of carbohydrate per hour alongside the sodium your body is losing through sweat.
