Overview

Is the SiS Beta Fuel Gel 6-Pack the right format for training and racing?

The SiS Beta Fuel Gel 6-Pack gives you enough dual-source carbohydrate fuel for a single long effort or a short race block: 40g of carbohydrates per gel in a scientifically optimized 1:0.8 ratio of maltodextrin to fructose. That ratio allows your body to oxidize carbohydrates at up to 74% efficiency by using two gut transporters simultaneously, compared to 62% with single-source gels. The result is more usable energy per gel, less GI distress, and the ability to sustain 80 to 120g of carbohydrate intake per hour that serious endurance performance demands. Science in Sport developed and validated this formula with elite endurance programs.

Each gel is isotonic, no water required, and the 6-pack covers two to three hours of fueling at one gel per 20 to 30 minutes. Available in Neutral, Orange, and Strawberry and Lime. The 6-pack is the right buy for trying a new flavor, stocking up for a specific race, or keeping a small supply on hand without committing to a 30-pack. Informed Sport certified, with every batch tested against the WADA banned substances list.

What makes the Beta Fuel Gel different from regular energy gels?

The 1:0.8 maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio allows the body to use two different carbohydrate transporters simultaneously, increasing carbohydrate oxidation efficiency from 62% to 74% and supporting intake of up to 120g of carbohydrate per hour with minimal GI distress.

Does the Beta Fuel Gel need to be taken with water?

No. The Beta Fuel Gel is isotonic and can be consumed directly without additional water.

How often should I take Beta Fuel Gels?

Use 1 gel every 20 to 30 minutes during sustained efforts over 2 hours, combining with other Beta Fuel products to reach 80-120g carbohydrate per hour.

Should I buy the 6-pack or the 30-pack?

If you go through Beta Fuel regularly, the 30-pack delivers significantly better value per gel. The 6-pack is the right choice for trying flavors or a one-time race supply.
