SRAM CenterLine Disc Brake Rotor - 203mm | 6-Bolt
How does the SRAM CenterLine 203mm Rotor stay quiet under braking?
The name is the engineering. SRAM designed the CenterLine braking surface so the center of friction stays consistent as the rotor turns, which is what keeps vibration down and stops the howl that a lot of big rotors develop when they get hot. The result is a rotor that brakes smoothly and quietly rather than one that announces every corner. At 203 mm it is the largest CenterLine size, so it is the choice when heat and leverage matter more than grams.
It is a one-piece stainless steel rotor, 1.85 mm thick, on a 6-bolt hub interface with a 44 mm bolt circle, and steel rotor bolts come in the box. The rounded edges are UCI compliant and make wheel installs easier, which is a small thing until you have fought a hot rotor back between pads. It works with any pad compound and with both road and mountain calipers. Being 6-bolt, it will not fit a CenterLock hub.
