FAQ

How do I know if I need 27mm or 37mm bolts?

If the caliper mounts directly to your frame or fork's native flat mount interface without any bracket adapter, use the 27mm bolts. If your installation uses a flat mount bracket adapter to accommodate a larger rotor on a smaller frame mount, use the 37mm bolts instead — the adapter adds enough thickness to require the longer fastener for safe thread engagement.

Do these work with non-SRAM flat mount calipers?

Flat mount is an industry-standard interface, not proprietary to SRAM. These bolts use standard M5 T25 Torx threads consistent with the flat mount specification, so they are compatible with any flat mount caliper from any brand that uses standard flat mount hardware dimensions. Always confirm thread pitch and diameter before installing in safety-critical brake mounts.

Why does stainless steel matter here?

These bolts thread into aluminum caliper mounts, and standard steel corrodes over time in that contact zone, especially on bikes that see rain, mud, or hose-down washes. When steel corrodes in aluminum threads, the bolts seize and removal strips the mount or snaps the fastener. Stainless steel resists this process and keeps the caliper removable for future service.

Best For

Road and gravel builds with a native direct flat mount interface and no bracket adapter, or as replacement stainless hardware for existing mounts where original bolts have corroded or seized.
