What is the SRAM Force AXS E1 Power Meter Crankset?
The SRAM Force AXS E1 Power Meter Crankset puts a spider-based power meter inside the chainring assembly, so you get left and right leg power on a Force-level carbon road crank with nothing bolted on afterward. SRAM rates it accurate within +/-1.5%, and temperature changes during a ride don't throw the numbers off. It runs on a user-replaceable CR2032 battery rated for 200 hours.
The Thread Mount chainrings thread on and off the power meter, so you can change ring sizes later without buying a new crankset or a new power meter. Gearing follows SRAM X-Range and runs on a 12-speed Flattop chain. The DUB spindle needs a SRAM road DUB bottom bracket matched to your frame shell, sold separately.
50/37T or 48/35T?
50/37T gives you the taller top end for fast group rides and racing. 48/35T is the combination most road riders on a 10-33 or 10-36 cassette end up using across the whole cassette, instead of living in the big ring.
