What is the SRAM Power Link 8-Speed?

The SRAM Power Link is a reusable master link for 8-speed chains, allowing tool-free chain installation and removal. Sold as a card of 4 links, the Power Link snaps together by hand and is removed by compressing the link sideways to disengage without a chain tool. Compatible with SRAM and most standard 8-speed chains. Using a Power Link makes chain cleaning, removal, and replacement significantly faster than a traditional chain pin.

The Power Link is the standard connecting link included with most SRAM 8-speed chains. Sold separately here as a spare pack of 4, useful to have on hand for chain replacements, quick cleanings, or emergency field repairs.
