Is the SRAM Rival XPLR Crankset the right 1x gravel crank?
The SRAM Rival XPLR Crankset is SRAM's most advanced aluminum gravel crankset, engineered to pair directly with Rival XPLR AXS 1x13 drivetrains for riders who want proven performance without stepping up to Force or RED. Careful shaping puts material only where stiffness demands it, keeping the arms light without giving up drive-side rigidity. The 42T direct mount chainring uses X-SYNC tall square teeth and mud-clearing recesses to hold the chain under the kind of chatter gravel delivers on repeat.
Built around SRAM's DUB spindle, the crankset runs a 47.5mm Wide chainline with a 6.5mm chainring offset, giving clearance for modern gravel frames and compatibility with 135, 142, and Boost rear spacing. Available in 160mm, 165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm, and 175mm crank arm lengths, and compatible with Eagle, Road Flattop D1, Road Flattop E1, and T-Type chains across 12 and 13 speed systems. Bottom bracket is not included, which keeps it flexible across frames already set up for SRAM Road Wide DUB BBs. Built for gravel riders running Rival XPLR AXS who want direct mount simplicity and bulletproof chain retention.
