Race Day contains twice the sealing crystals of Original, including larger XL crystals that seal bigger punctures faster. The low-viscosity formula is also optimized for speed of sealing, making it the better choice when seconds matter.
How much sealant should I put in each tire?
Generally 2-3oz for road tires, 3-4oz for gravel, and 4-6oz for mountain bike tires. Wider tires and arid conditions may call for a bit more. Check sealant levels every few months and top off as needed.
Can Race Day sealant be used year-round in cold climates?
Yes. Race Day is formulated with anti-freezing agents that keep it effective down to -30F, making it a reliable choice for winter training and racing in cold conditions.
