Yes. To inject sealant directly through the valve stem, you'll remove the valve core first, inject the sealant, then reinstall the core. The process takes about a minute and keeps the tire fully seated on the rim.
Does this injector work with all tubeless sealants?
Yes. The Stan's injector works with Stan's Original, Race Day, and most other tubeless sealants on the market. Just make sure to rinse it out after use to prevent sealant from drying inside the barrel.
Is 150ml enough for a full tire fill?
For most road and gravel tires, yes. The 150ml capacity handles a standard 2-4oz fill in one shot. Larger mountain bike tires may require refilling the injector once, but the process is still far faster and cleaner than pouring from a bottle.
