Overview
What is the Tacx Alpine Gradient Simulator built for?
The Tacx Alpine Gradient Simulator raises and lowers the front of your bike to replicate grades from up to 25% down to -10%, and it provides more natural movement when climbing. It works exclusively with the latest Tacx smart trainers: the NEO 2T, NEO 3M and Nēra. A dynamic fork mount lets you steer in real time by turning the handlebars in compatible apps, and a built-in motion base gives a more natural riding position. Grade changes follow the app automatically, or you can set the grade yourself from the control panel.
Adapters for 9x100 quick release and 12x100, 15x100 and 15x110 thru axles come in the box, along with a NEO 2T retrofit kit, and it suits road, gravel and mountain bikes. It connects over ANT+ and Bluetooth, works with the Tacx Training app, Zwift and other popular apps, and setup follows a step-by-step guide in the Tacx Training app. Incline accuracy is within 0.1%, and the grade changes at 3% per second on a bike with a 1000 mm wheelbase. A Tacx Training app Premium HD subscription voucher is included. It is built for riders on a Tacx NEO 2T, NEO 3M or Nēra who want to climb and descend in a more natural position indoors.
