Ready-to-ride Zwift shifting in the Tacx NEO 2T
The Tacx NEO 2T Smart Trainer with Zwift Cog and Click arrives with a Zwift Cog installed and a Zwift Click controller for your bars, so you get 24 silent virtual gears in Zwift, and the cog takes the place of a cassette. The cog works with almost any 8 to 13-speed drivetrain when you ride in Zwift or ROUVY. With an active Zwift membership, Click also lets you steer, move through menus and give ride-ons from the handlebars, and ERG mode workouts still run through compatible devices, including a Garmin Edge.
Underneath is the NEO 2T trainer: 32 neodymium magnets for sprints up to 2,200 watts, simulated climbs up to 25%, and power and cadence within 1% with no calibration. Road Feel vibrations and descent simulation add realism, and race mode keeps the response fast in virtual races. It also connects to TrainerRoad and the Tacx Training app. It suits Zwift riders who want virtual shifting ready to ride from the box.
