Overview
What is the Tacx NEO Bike Plus smart bike built for?
The Tacx NEO Bike Plus Smart Trainer is an all-in-one smart bike built for indoor training, with simple adjustments that make it easy for several riders in one home to share. Saddle height, saddle and handlebar position and five crank lengths adjust to match each rider's outdoor fit, and the shifters can be programmed to work like Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo. Power, speed and cadence are measured within 1%, sprints top out at 2,200 watts and climbs are simulated up to 25%. NEO smart technology and its internal design keep it quiet, according to Garmin.
Built-in fans respond to your power or heart rate, a 4.5-inch display is built in, and two USB chargers power up your devices. Road Feel vibrates the bike over virtual cobbles and gravel in the Tacx Training app (Tacx Premium or Premium HD subscription required, one month included), and pedal stroke analysis tracks your left and right legs to break down your pedaling technique. It connects over Bluetooth and ANT+ FE-C to apps like Zwift and TrainerRoad and to your Garmin bike computer at the same time. Pedals and a tablet are not included. It suits households where several riders share one indoor bike.
