Overview
How Does the USWE Chest Pocket Make Mid-Ride Access Easier?
The USWE Chest Pocket NDM 1 is a front-mounting soft flask carrier designed for USWE hydration packs running the No Dancing Monkey 1.0 or No Dancing Monkey 1.2 harness. It clips directly to the harness straps at chest level, positioning your soft flasks in front of you for instant, one-handed access while riding. The pocket is sized to carry soft flasks up to 600 ml and fits snugly against your body without bouncing or shifting, maintaining the clean locked-in feel that defines the USWE harness system. At approximately 17 x 8 x 8 cm, it is compact enough to stay out of your way while still being large enough to hold what you need.
Whether you are supplementing bladder hydration with an electrolyte flask or replacing the bladder entirely for shorter efforts, the Chest Pocket NDM 1 gives you the flexibility to customize your nutrition and hydration setup on any given ride. Built to the same quality standard as the rest of the USWE lineup, it is durable, lightweight, and fully integrated into the NDM harness ecosystem without any workarounds. A practical, purpose-built add-on for riders who want smarter access to what they are drinking.

Visit the USWE page →What flask sizes fit in the USWE Chest Pocket NDM 1?
The pocket is designed to hold soft flasks up to 600 ml. Standard 500 ml and 600 ml soft flasks from most brands fit well in the pocket.

Yes. Many riders use the Chest Pocket with soft flasks as their primary hydration source on shorter efforts, which eliminates the need for a bladder entirely and saves weight.
