The Wheels Manufacturing Derailleur Hanger 131 is a direct replacement hanger for a wide range of Giant and Liv mountain bikes, including many years of the Anthem, Trance, Reign, XtC, Talon, Fathom, and Stance, plus the Liv Enchant and Tempt. It replaces Giant part RE9GA and attaches to the frame from the hub side with a single M8 chainring bolt, which is included in the box. If your rear derailleur is hanging crooked or your hanger snapped in a crash, this is the part that gets your shifting back to true.
Each hanger is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum in Wheels Manufacturing's Colorado shop and finished in black anodize, built stiffer than most OEM hangers to improve durability and shifting precision. The derailleur hanger is designed to be the sacrificial part that bends or breaks before your frame or derailleur does, so keeping a spare in your pack is cheap insurance on the trail.
