The Wheels Manufacturing Derailleur Hanger - 261 is a direct replacement for Jamis part 65-0007 and Novara part Q28-4139. A bent or snapped hanger is the usual reason a derailleur suddenly shifts poorly or hangs crooked after a tip-over, and a fresh hanger brings the derailleur back into line. Wheels Manufacturing machines it from 6061 aluminum on CNC equipment in their Colorado shop, so it matches the original shape and holds tight tolerances. The black anodized finish looks right at home on the dropout.
It mounts with two M4x8 flat head screws, which are not included, so reuse your originals if they are in good shape or plan on a new pair. One important note: hanger 261 looks very similar to Wheels Manufacturing hanger 243, so compare the machined cutout against your old hanger before you install it. After it goes on, check derailleur alignment so your shifting comes back crisp.
