The Wheels Manufacturing Derailleur Hanger 283 is the replacement hanger for Specialized 135mm SCS frames running an SCS 135mm road disc hub, and it carries a 2.5mm offset that keeps the rear derailleur properly aligned on that spacing. It fits the 2015 and 2016 Roubaix Disc QR SCS, Ruby Disc QR SCS, and Tarmac Disc QR SCS, along with the S-Works Tarmac Disc framesets and modules from the same years. It replaces Specialized part S142600001. Do not confuse it with the 146, which is the hanger for non-SCS Specialized frames.

Each hanger is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum in Wheels Manufacturing's Colorado shop and finished in black anodize, built stiffer than most OEM hangers to improve durability and shifting precision. It attaches with two M3x8 flat head screws, and those fasteners are included in the box. The derailleur hanger is designed to be the sacrificial part that bends or breaks before your frame or derailleur does, so a spare is cheap insurance on a bike you race or travel with.
