Why Carry the Wolf Tooth Axle Handle Multi-Tool?

The Wolf Tooth Axle Handle Multi-Tool is a minimalist tool with 10 functions that stores at the end of a Wolf Tooth rear 12mm axle while you ride. Wolf Tooth rear axles need a threaded nut added to the end of the axle, and that nut is included. One end of the handle has a 5mm hex stepped to 6mm that fits into the end of the axle. The other end has a 4mm opening for double-sided hex bits, which nest inside the handle and are held by a magnet.

Four double-sided bits are included: 2, 2.5, 3, and 4mm hex, #3.5 flat head and #2 Phillips, and T10 and T25 Torx compatible. You pick the two you use most to store in the tool. Wolf Tooth designed it for its own rear axles but says it also works on other axles with a threaded end. It weighs 28g and is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum in Minnesota.
