Wolf Tooth CenterLock Rotor Lockring - External Splined
Why Do Cyclists Choose the Wolf Tooth CenterLock Lockring?
The Wolf Tooth CenterLock Rotor Lockring External Spline secures a centerlock rotor on a centerlock hub. It works with 12mm, 15mm, and 20mm thru axles as well as QR, and its anodized colors match other Wolf Tooth color accents for headsets, bolts, seatpost clamps, and more. It is made from 7075-T6 aluminum with a stainless steel shim washer, machined at Wolf Tooth in Minnesota, USA, weighs 10.5g, and is sold individually.
The lockring uses the industry standard 4mm thick flange and 44mm outer diameter. Wolf Tooth says that fits all mountain bike frames and forks and many road bike frames and forks, but some road frames and forks need a thinner lockring, so check the clearance on your bike before you order. Torque it to 40Nm. It installs with the Wolf Tooth Pack Wrench.
If your frame or fork is too tight for this ring, Wolf Tooth makes a slimmer internal spline version. Our guide to internal vs external spline CenterLock lockrings explains how to choose between them.
