Visit the ENVE page →Do I need the ENVE IN-Route handlebar to use this stem?
Yes. The IN-Route system requires the matching ENVE IN-Route bar, stem, fork, and headset to route cables internally. Using this stem with a standard handlebar will not achieve full internal routing.
Can a home mechanic install this?
The IN-Route system is more involved than a standard stem swap due to internal cable routing. We strongly recommend professional installation. Installation at the Lab is billed bench work, and we will do it right.
