The Kask Caipi in Black Matte is a lightweight mountain bike helmet built for trail riding, XC, and gravel adventures where weight and ventilation matter as much as protection. Twenty-two strategically placed vents move air efficiently across the shell, with each vent connected by an internal channel in the foam liner to provide maximum airflow throughout the helmet. Integrated ventilation built into the visor adds even more cooling for hot, sustained climbs. Extended rear coverage extends down toward the base of the skull, providing more protection than a road helmet without the weight of a full enduro lid.
The Octo Fit retention system uses a floating inner cradle with gel pad contact points that can rotate freely for a snug, custom fit, tightening on the rear with a quality rubberised micro-dial. The Custom Fit Divider strap system anchors at three fixed positions to keep the chinstrap clear of sunglasses temples while you adjust under-chin fit. Thermoformed 5 mm padding is removable and washable, and the faux leather chinstrap is anallergic and easy to clean. The polycarbonate shell paired with EPS liner weighs approximately 290 grams in the CPSC version. Certified to CE EN 1078, CPSC 1203, and AS/NZS 2063. The clean Black Matte finish is the most versatile option in the lineup, pairing cleanly with any kit and any bike build.
