Are the Muc-Off Rim Stix Levers Worth Carrying?
A bad tire lever is the kind of thing you only learn about mid-ride when you're pinching a tube trying to get the bead over the rim. The Muc-Off Rim Stix Tire Lever is built to give you actual mechanical advantage without the risks that come with cheap plastic levers: the profile seats cleanly under the bead and rolls the tire off the rim rather than prying and flexing against it. The reinforced polymer construction is stiff enough to work on tight-fitting tires without snapping, and the rim-hook end locks to a spoke for hands-free leverage when you need both hands on the bead.
The Rim Stix is also designed with tubeless rims in mind: the lever profile minimizes the chance of piercing a tube or displacing a valve stem during the removal process.
