Racing Access Fund

Money should never be the reason a teammate stops racing. The Racing Access Fund helps adult Dialed Cycling Team riders offset race entries, team kit, gear and dues when money is tight, covering part or all of the cost.

The team board decidesThe Dialed Cycling Team board of directors reviews every request and decides every grant from the fund.
Requests stay privateOnly the board sees who asks for help. We never name a rider who gets help without their OK.
The team pays the costs directlyThe fund covers part or all of an approved cost and pays the race promoter, kit maker or store directly.
Your gift is tax‑deductibleThe Dialed Cycling Team is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with its own accounting, completely separate from Dialed Cycling Lab. Our EIN is 83‑3224703.
How It Works

Money Should Not Decide Who Races

Entry fees, kit and gear add up over a season. The Racing Access Fund helps offset those costs for adult Dialed Cycling Team riders when money is tight, covering part or all of what the board approves, so they can keep racing with the team.

Step 01

A teammate asks

A teammate fills out the private request form below and tells the board which races or items they need help with. No one has to share any details about their finances to ask.

Step 02

The board decides

The board reviews each request and decides how much the fund can cover, from part of the cost to all of it, based on what is in the fund and how many teammates have asked.

Step 03

The team pays

Once a request is approved, the team pays the approved amount directly to the race promoter, the kit maker or the store. The rider never has to pay it back.

Give to the Racing Access Fund

Keep a Teammate Racing

A race entry, a new set of tires or a team kit can decide whether a teammate races this season or sits it out. Gifts to the Racing Access Fund go to adult Dialed Cycling Team riders who need a hand with those costs.

On the giving form, choose Racing Access Fund from the fund list. Your tax receipt arrives by email.
Want your gift to help a specific teammate? Add their name in the teammate question on the giving form. When the teammate you name qualifies for help, the board will usually put your gift toward their approved costs. The board keeps the final call on how the fund is used, and that final say is what keeps your gift tax‑deductible.

Need Help With Racing Costs?

If race entries, team kit, gear or dues are keeping you off the start line, ask the board for help. The Racing Access Fund exists for exactly that, and there is nothing embarrassing about asking.

What happens after you ask

  • Only the board sees your request.
  • Someone from the board gets back to you by email.
  • The board may cover part or all of what you ask for.
  • The team pays the approved amount directly to the race, the kit maker or the store.
  • The fund can only give what it has, so we cannot promise to cover every request.
  • We'd love for you to consider giving back with a volunteer shift, like the Michael Myers Memorial Time Trial or a Bikes for Kids build. It's a request, not a requirement.

The Racing Access Fund is for current adult members of the Dialed Cycling Team. Junior riders get their support through the team's juniors program.
