About Bob

HometownBrush PrairieDCT since2024RacingMasters

I love moving through air fast, riding, running, cars, etc... I've been racing cross since 2003, and I'm not the best at it, but it's my favorite. My wife and I still train for shorter triathlon races.

A few questions for Bob

How did you get into bike racing?

I saw a cross crusade race while running a cross country race (xdog events). I thought I should try it, so I did the next weekend. I was hooked.

What is your favorite race or ride, and why?

Alpenrose and Barton Park were my favorite cross races. Unfortunately they are both gone now.

What rides and races are on your bucket list?

I'd like to see some more rails to trails projects that I haven't ridden yet.

Pre-race meal or ritual?

A shot of Espresso Hammer Gel before each race.

What is your favorite thing (or things) about the Dialed Cycling Team?
  • Lance, Jake, Matt and Austin were the starting seeds, but I meet new teammates/friends all the time.
