The Lake CX239 is the latest evolution of Lake's best-selling road shoe, taking everything that made the CX238 legendary and refining it for a more secure, powerful fit. An integrated tongue fused to the medial upper panel creates a firmer foot hold that improves power transfer directly into forward momentum. A fiberglass-reinforced internal heel counter delivers a more stable heel hold than its predecessor. Greater spacing between the two BOA dials gives improved independent zone adjustment across the forefoot. The full-grain leather upper includes a protective heel panel and rubber toe bumper for durability, plus mesh panels for ventilation. The full carbon outsole is stiff, light, and built for serious performance. Two BOA Li2 Dual Dial Closures provide micro-adjustable, even pressure across the entire foot. Built on Lake's Competition last with a wider ball girth, increased toe pitch, and heel lift for high-cadence riding under load.
