What is the Wahoo SPEEDPLAY ZERO 56mm built for?

The Wahoo SPEEDPLAY ZERO is a dual-sided road pedal that Wahoo builds for everything from all-out racing to double-century days, and this version uses the 56mm custom spindle length in place of the standard 53mm spindle. Wahoo offers the ZERO in four spindle lengths, 53mm, 56mm, 59mm and 65mm, so riders whose fit calls for a longer spindle can stay on the same pedal and cleat system. It pairs a stainless steel spindle with a Grivory GV-6H body, has no rider weight restriction, and lets you clip in from either side without looking down.

The cleat gives you 3-axis cleat adjustability for fore/aft, left/right and float, with up to 13mm of fore/aft travel, float adjustable from 0 to 15 degrees, and a release angle you can micro-adjust from 0 to 7.5 degrees. Stack height is 11.5mm on a standard 3-hole road shoe, and the pedals spin on triple sealed cartridge and needle bearings. Standard Tension cleats with a walkable cleat adaptor come in the box, and the Easy Tension cleats are compatible if you want a lighter release. Wahoo's published weight and cornering clearance figures are for the standard ZERO, which we carry on its own 53mm listing.
