The Garmin Edge 1060 adds a built-in microphone to Garmin's premium bike computer, so you can control the unit, send messages and report road hazards by voice while both hands stay on the bars. It keeps the 3.5-inch color touchscreen, physical buttons and built-in speaker of the Edge 1050 in a body that weighs 142 g, 19 g less than the 1050. Text and voice messages go out through the Garmin Messenger app on your phone, and you can trade messages with riding buddies on compatible Edge units and Garmin watches. Battery runs up to 20 hours in demanding use and up to 60 hours in battery save mode.

Navigation is where the Edge 1060 earns its spot on the bars. Preloaded bike maps carry worldwide trail data from Trailforks, routing adapts to road, gravel or mountain riding, and Free Flow routing finds training loops with fewer stops and intersections. On the training side, Power Guide sets power targets from your real-time stamina, altitude and wind, and Smart Fueling tells you when to eat and drink based on your fitness, the course and the heat. It pairs with Varia radar and lights, SRAM AXS and Shimano Di2, and reverse charging can top off your phone or tail light in a pinch. We carry the Edge 550, 850 and 1050 too, and the 1060 is the one for riders who want the big screen and would rather talk to their computer than tap it mid-ride.
